President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has issued a warning about two more large-scale offensive campaigns planned by Russia in the upcoming autumn. In an interview with Sky News, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has successfully repelled three previous Russian offensive campaigns.
During the conversation, Zelenskyy asserted that the Russians have suffered heavy losses in manpower and equipment in these failed missions. He also mentioned that the claims about Russia occupying the city of Sumy are lies and manipulation.
Zelenskyy emphasised the importance of supporting Ukrainian forces with weapons and financial assistance to withstand these upcoming attacks. He also expressed that this failure is an important signal, suggesting that Russia will not succeed in taking Ukraine's east.
