In response, Zelensky has vowed that Kyiv will not waver on its position regarding Crimea and its illegal annexation by Russia in 2014.

This is not the first time Russia has employed North Korean weaponry in its aggression against Ukraine. During the invasion three years ago, Russia acquired KN-23 ballistic missiles from North Korea, which outperform their Russian counterparts and contain Western-made components[1][2].
