In a thrilling display of endurance and teamwork, the 6-Hour Sparkasse Run at the Seevetal Sports Center saw two teams emerge victorious in their respective categories. The individual race was won by Christian Distowski from RSC Lueneburg Triathlon, while the team competition was claimed by Hamburg Island Runners and TSV Over-Bullenhausen in the 6-Hour Relay.

On Sunday, 150 runners participated in the first 6-Hour Sparkasse Run at the Seevetal Sports Center. The event, organised by Sparkasse Run, was a 6-hour running event, not a triathlon, as implied by the multiple team participants and the absence of swimming or cycling events.

Christian Distowski covered an impressive distance of 67.25 kilometers in 360 minutes to secure his victory, while Stephanie Schoeffzeck from Hamburg Island Runners covered the most kilometers among women, with a distance of 63.75 kilometers.

The 6-Hour Relay, a separate competition from the individual race, saw TSV Over-Bullenhausen's Elbflitzer take the top spot with a distance of 75.32 kilometers. The 6-Hour Relay involved teams, where the distance of the three best runners was counted. Hamburg Island Runners also triumphed in the team competition, with a total distance of 181.7 kilometers.

Unfortunately, detailed results or summaries for the 6-Hour Sparkasse Run, including individual and team performances, are not widely available in publicly accessible sources. For the official timing and ranking data, it is recommended to check the official Sparkasse Run website or contact the event organisers directly.

The 6-Hour Relay, like the individual race, was also organised by Sparkasse Run and took place at the Seevetal Sports Center, a popular venue for running events. The centre, located in the heart of Seevetal, offers an ideal setting for runners, with its well-maintained tracks and scenic surroundings.

The 6-Hour Sparkasse Run marks a significant addition to the running calendar, showcasing the dedication and determination of runners who participated. The event's success is a testament to the growing popularity of endurance running events and the outstanding organisation of Sparkasse Run.

At the 6-Hour Sparkasse Run, other sports such as swimming and cycling were not part of the event, making it a pure running competition. Team Hamburg Island Runners, alongside TSV Over-Bullenhausen, were victorious in the other sports category, the 6-Hour Relay, demonstrating their collective teamwork and endurance.
