Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins' quarterback, may pay a visit to his sibling Taulia during their match at Hamburg's home ground on the 20th of July.

Rumor swirls about potential NFL star joining Sea Devils at Volkspark Stadium.

Hamburg, Germany – Taulia Tagovailoa, younger brother of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, is poised to make his debut with the Hamburg Sea Devils in the European League of Football (ELF) on July 20, after signing a contract with the team following an injury to their previous starter.

Tagovailoa, who previously played for the Hamilton Tigercats in the Canadian Football League (CFL), expressed his excitement about joining the Sea Devils at his official presentation ahead of their match against Stuttgart Surge.

The 25-year-old, born in Hawaii and once hailed as a promising NFL prospect during his college days at the Maryland Terrapins, did not initially know that football was played in Europe just two weeks ago. With a successful college career under his belt, tagged as the top passer in the history of the Big Ten Conference, and a stint in the CFL as a backup, the new signing relished the opportunity to continue his professional career.

Tagovailoa became aware of the opening with Hamburg after receiving an Instagram message from Sea Devils manager Mark Weitz last week. With US quarterback Micah Leon sidelined with a broken thumb for roughly six weeks, Weitz was in need of a replacement. Tagovailoa hopped on a plane to Germany, where he signed a contract with the Sea Devils, valid until the end of the season. Prior to making his move to Hamburg, he sought counsel from his brother, who advised him to keep playing football and pursue his dreams.

Tua Tagovailoa, currently in the off-season with the Miami Dolphins, is planned to attend the Sea Devils' home game against Rhein Fire at the Volksparkstadion on July 20. The potential visit from the NFL star would not add undue pressure for Tagovailoa, who is accustomed to comparisons with his brother. With his sights set on the NFL, Tagovailoa emphasized that he considers the comparisons logical and has no qualms facing them.

The signing of Tagovailoa has been touted as a significant boost for the Hamburg Sea Devils and the ELF, with Commissioner Patrick Esume praising it as a win for the entire league. Tagovailoa's career has taken a somewhat roundabout path over the past year, having gone undrafted in the NFL draft and experiencing a system mismatch in the CFL. But with the Sea Devils, he now seeks to forge his own path in Europe.

Tagovailoa, thrilled about his upcoming debut with the Hamburg Sea Devils in the European League of Football (ELF), shared his excitement during his official presentation before the match against Stuttgart Surge. With an NFL career initially on the horizon, Tagovailoa aims to showcase his skills in American football, transitioning from the Canadian Football League (CFL) to the ELF, where he will play alongside other sports like football.
