Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf are considered the flagship and important ratings guarantee for the ProSieben station family. They have been spreading political messages on ProSieben for years, including topics like sea rescue, right-wing extremism, and women's rights. In March, they extended their exclusive contract with ProSiebenSat.1 by five years.

MFE, owned by the children of the late former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, is likely to announce a takeover of ProSiebenSat.1 within this month.
