Rumor Circulates: Will Davide Ancelotti Take Over Coaching Role at RB Leipzig?

Rumors Surface of Davide Ancelotti for RB Leipzig Coaching Position

According to reports from German newspaper Bild, RB Leipzig may have made contact with Davide Ancelotti, the son of renowned coach Carlo Ancelotti, for the upcoming coaching position at the Bundesliga club.

Davide Ancelotti, 35, is currently serving as an assistant coach to his father at Real Madrid and holds a contract there until 2026. Despite the potential interest from RB Leipzig, Cesc Fabregas and Oliver Glasner remain the favorites to take over the interim position from Zsolt Low.

Ancelotti has spent 12 years as a member of his father's coaching staff, working at top clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, FC Bayern, SSC Napoli, and FC Everton, among others. He is fluent in several languages, including German.

Despite his extensive experience working alongside his father, Ancelotti has never held a head coaching role. This could potentially make his appointment a risky move for RB Leipzig.

While Davide Ancelotti is currently an assistant coach at Real Madrid, his experience in multiple European leagues, including German, might make him an attractive candidate for future coaching positions in sports like football. It's worth noting, however, that his lack of head coaching experience could potentially pose a risk for any club considering him for a leadership role.
