The Women's Rugby World Cup semi-finals are heating up, with Canada taking on New Zealand on Saturday. Both teams have made some changes to their lineups due to injuries and strategic decisions.

For Canada, Brittany Kassil, Olivia Apps, Gillian Boag, Tyson Beukeboom, Shoshanah Seumenutafa, and Olivia Demerchant have been brought in as replacements. Taylor Perry, Caroline Crossley, Justine Pelletier, Sophie de Goede, Emily Tuttosi, Alexandra Tessier, Florence Symonds, McKinley Hunt, Asia Hogan-Rochester, Daleaka Menin, and Karen Paquin will start the match. Julia Schell, Alysha Corrigan, and Gabrielle Senft are on the bench.

New Zealand, who won the World Cup on home soil three years ago, have had to make some adjustments due to an unspecified injury to Jorja Miller. Kennedy Tukuafu, who co-captained the winning team, will replace Miller in the starting line-up. Ayesha Leti-I'iga, Kate Henwood, Atlanta Lolohea, Amy Rule, Chelsea Bremner, and Layla Sa'e are the replacements. Renee Holmes, Braxton Sorensen-McGee, Stacey Waaka, Sylvia Brunt, Portia Woodman-Wickliffe; Ruahei Demant (co-captain), Risi Pouri-Lane; Chryss Viliko, Georgia Ponsonby, Tanya Kalounivale; Maia Roos, Alana Bremner; Liana Mikaele-Tu'u, Kennedy Tukuafu (co-captain), Kaipo Olsen-Baker make up the starting line-up.

In a surprising move, Risi Pouri-Lane replaces Maia Joseph at scrumhalf in the starting line-up. Maia Joseph, who was initially in the starting line-up, will be on the bench.

Sylvia Brunt returns to the team after missing the quarter-final victory due to a head knock, and will play at centre.

The winners of this highly anticipated match will advance to the final on 27 September and face either England or France.
