RTL’s Charity Marathon has marked its 30th anniversary with a record-breaking total of €23.077 million. The event, which supports children’s aid projects, saw a significant rise in donations compared to last year. Celebrities, athletes, and musicians joined forces to encourage viewers to give generously.

This year’s total is nearly 50% higher than the 2022 edition, which raised around €16.62 million. Over three decades, the telethon has collected roughly €329 million for children in need.

The 2023 Charity Marathon has set a new fundraising record, with €23.077 million collected. The money will fund projects aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable children across Germany. Organisers have already begun planning how the donations will be allocated in the coming months.
