Football enthusiast and legendary commentator Marco Hagemann (48) has no plans to abandon the football mic at RTL any time soon. The broadcaster recently confirmed that Hagemann has extended his contract, though the specific duration remains a secret. Hagemann himself confirms he's not signing a short-term deal, but is here to stay for more football highlights.

He's thrilled to be part of "many more football moments with the RTL mic in the approaching years." Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Hagemann is set to stick with "this shared football adventure with and at RTL," which kicked off in 2014, for the foreseeable future.

Imminent Broadcast Prowess

RTL has scored more broadcasting rights, including the Europa League, Conference League, and German national team matches. Hagemann will make his next appearance on June 8 during the Nations League. The final or third-place match, depending on Germany's involvement, is on the horizon.

Hagemann's television journey commenced around 25 years ago at the sports channel, Sport1, as a news editor. He later transitioned to commentator. After a decade at pay-TV station Sky, where he covered Bundesliga up to Champions League matches and offered tennis expertise, he joined RTL in September 2014.

Marco Hagemann's association with RTL, a broadcaster that holds the rights to the Europa League, Conference League, and German national team matches, is expected to continue well into the future as he remains a key part of their shared football adventure.
