The Theater and Orchestra GmbH (TOG) Neubrandenburg/Neustrelitz has announced a positive overall balance for the 2024/25 season, with a total of 105,930 visitors recorded. This represents a 1.8% increase compared to the previous season.
The successful season was marked by a variety of performances, including the operetta "Die Zirkusprinzessin" (The Circus Princess), which attracted 12,500 visitors, an increase of 13.6% compared to the previous year. Other highlights of the Neustrelitz festival summer 2025 included "Bastien and Bastienne," the children's play "Poseidon and the Plastic Sea," and the "Udo Jürgens Tribute Show."
The operetta "The Circus Princess" was a captivating production that revolved around Mister X, an aerial acrobat, and Princess Fedora Palinska, with intrigues in St. Petersburg and a happy ending in Vienna. The performance was particularly notable for the impressive acrobatics of Lea Toran Jenner, a well-known circus artist.
The family concert "Orchestra Mice" was also held during the Neustrelitz festival summer 2025, taking place in the Tiergarten. The elements cycle "Fire, Water, Air" of the German Dance Company Neustrelitz was another significant part of the festivities.
