In an iconic show of resilience, Princess Anne (74), emerged on a steed during the "Trooping the Colour" parade, marking her first public appearance on horseback a year since her tragic riding incident. Accompanied by her brother, Prince Edward (61) - Duke of Edinburgh, and Prince William (42), this moment was a powerful testament to Anne's indomitable spirit. Meanwhile, King Charles III. (76) and Camilla (77), alongside Princess Kate (43) and her kids, opted for a carriage ride to the palace.

At King Charles' birthday celebration, Princess Anne donned the regal uniform of the "Blues and Royals," a renowned cavalry regiment of the British Army. According to the "Mirror," Anne's steadfast role as the "Gold Stick in Waiting," a post dating back to the Tudor era and responsible for the monarch's protection, was once again credited to her. Interestingly, it is believed Anne rode her trusted steed, Noble, the same horse she was seen with last year, which King Charles mounted in 2023.

The Forgotten Incident

Princess Anne's comeback to equestrian pursuits signified a triumphant moment. Since her unfortunate accident at Gatcombe Park in June 2024, Anne had stayed away from riding. The accident resulted in a minor head injury and a concussion, forcing her to check into a Bristol hospital for several days.

A month later, at a horse event, Anne revealed that she couldn't recollect the accident itself. In her visit to the clinic in February, she confessed her obscured memory, "They filled in the gaps, which I think is really helpful to know what happened... Because I don't have any idea, and I don't have many memories of being here."
