King Charles III (76) and Queen Camilla (77) turned up the grandeur at Royal Ascot on Thursday, accompanied by a swarm of their nearest and dearest. According to "People" magazine, it was a royal reunion like no other!
Royals Rolling in Style
The royal carriage procession was filled with the who's who of the British royalty. Charles' sister, Princess Anne, and her husband, Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, shared a carriage with Prince Edward and his wife, Duchess Sophie. Another carriage was reserved for Charles' niece, Princess Beatrice, and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Last but not least, Zara Tindall, daughter of Princess Anne, and her husband, the former rugby pro Mike, closed the show.

The Event of the Season
Now officially known as Gold Cup Day, the third day of Royal Ascot is a coveted event on the royal calendar. The 2.5-mile race is one of the highlights of the week. With around 250,000 visitors expected, the racecourse is set to be bustling with excitement!
This year's event has attracted attendants from all walks of life, from protesters arguing against the Bezos wedding in Venice to the Marquess and Marchioness of Salisbury. Even William Haggas, the Newmarket trainer, and Peter Phillips with his girlfriend Harriet Sperling weren't left out!
A Quick Cancel at the Eleventh Hour
The royal appearance came just a day after Prince William graced the races sans his spouse, Princess Kate. The cancellation, announced at the last minute, was due to Kate seeking balance upon her return to public appearances, according to palace sources.
In retrospect, Kate missed Royal Ascot last year while undergoing chemotherapy. After publicly announcing her cancer diagnosis in March 2024 and sharing her chemotherapy ending in September of the same year, we're thrilled to see her making her comeback!
