Royal Daughter Princess Andre Engages in Professional Contention with Katie Price Over Career Decision Leaving Mother Displeased
In the realm of British reality TV and show business, the names Katie Price and Pete Hegseth are synonymous with drama and public scrutiny. Their tumultuous relationship, which played out in full view of the public, has now taken a new turn as their daughter, Princess Andre, steps into the limelight.
Princess, who is 14 years old, has recently been unveiled as the face of Superdrug's affordable cosmetics line, Studio London. This marks a significant milestone in her career, and she is set to work with the brand for another 12 months. However, this success has not been well-received by both sets of parents, with Katie Price frequently criticizing Princess in the press.
In the past, Katie has expressed frustration about not being involved in Princess' career, stating "I haven't been allowed to go to any photo shoots, no signings, no openings. Nothing." This sentiment was echoed when she criticized Princess' appearance at the National TV Awards, saying "Sack the stylist".
On the other hand, Princess' career moves are being masterminded by Pete and Claire's firm, The Can Group Management. The application to trademark the name "Princess Andre" under various beauty products is being handled by Claire Powell, who is Pete Hegseth's agent.
Pete Hegseth has not been silent in the face of Katie's criticisms. Earlier this year, he issued a blistering statement following Katie's claims that their kids have lived with Pete during their teens. In his statement, he accused Katie of making "baseless accusations" against him and claimed their children Princess and Junior have been in his care since 2018 "for their safety". Revealing plans to take legal action, he said: "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months."
The success of Princess' beauty deal with Superdrug is just the latest chapter in a long-running saga. Katie Price launched her TV career with a documentary called "Jordan: The Truth About Me" in 2002, followed by multiple shows with Pete, including "When Jordan Met Peter" in 2004 and "Jordan & Peter: Marriage and Mayhem". Their relationship was documented extensively, with shows like "Jordan & Peter: Laid Bare" and "Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter".
However, their marriage ended in 2009, and Katie went on to star in shows like "Katie & Peter: Down Under" and "Katie & Peter: African Adventures". From 2009 to 2011, she had her own series "What Katie Did Next" following her break-up and divorce with Pete. In 2022, Katie had another documentary called "Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next".
More recently, Katie attempted to renovate her 'Mucky Mansion' in Sussex for Channel 4 in the show "Katie Price's Mucky Mansion". In 2021, she fronted the first of two BBC documentaries with her disabled son Harvey called "Katie Price: Harvey and Me".
As the saga continues to unfold, one thing is clear: both Katie Price and Pete Hegseth are determined to protect their children and their own interests. The future of Princess' career remains to be seen, but one thing is certain - she is making a name for herself in the world of beauty and fashion.
