The Rostock Seawolves kicked off their FIBA Europe Cup campaign with a thrilling victory, defeating Tartu Ulikool Maks & Moorits 100:82 in their opening game. The German team, led by captain Sid-Marlon Theis, showcased a strong finish to secure the win.

The Seawolves started slowly but found their rhythm towards the end of the first quarter, closing it with an impressive 11:0 run to lead 27:19. TJ Crockett, the top scorer of the game, contributed significantly to this turnaround with his 19 points.

The Estonian team fought back in the second half, narrowing the gap to just four points at times. However, the Seawolves managed to maintain their composure and extend their lead. A crucial three-pointer from Crockett with three minutes remaining sealed the victory, making it 93:76.
