Rostelecom’s Solar Group to Go Public in Early 2026 Cybersecurity Push

Rostelecom has announced plans to take its cybersecurity subsidiary, Solar Group, public in early 2026. The decision was revealed by company president Mikhail Oseevsky during the VTB forum Russia Calling!. Solar Group currently leads the information security sector, according to Oseevsky himself.

The initial public offering (IPO) for Solar Group is scheduled for the first half of 2026. While no exact date has been confirmed, Rostelecom’s board has already given formal approval for the share placement. Oseevsky highlighted the firm’s dominance in cybersecurity, calling it an undisputed market leader.

Solar Group’s IPO will mark a significant step for Rostelecom in the cybersecurity sector. The company’s leadership position and planned public listing could attract investor interest. Meanwhile, RTK-DC’s upcoming share placement suggests a broader push by Rostelecom to strengthen its portfolio.
