The much-anticipated Strictly Come Dancing 2025 is underway, and the lineup is nothing short of spectacular. Among the celebrities gearing up for practice is Thomas Skinner, former The Apprentice star, and Kristian Nairn, known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Our Flag Means Death.

Thomas Skinner addressed the backlash against his invitation to join the show, expressing his excitement about filming Strictly Come Dancing for the first time. He revealed that he has to work hard to support his family, as he has three kids and a wife. In a show of solidarity, Thomas invited anyone local to have a pint with him later.

Kristian Nairn, who stands at 6ft 9ins, is perhaps the tallest contestant ever on Strictly Come Dancing. Unfortunately, due to medical issues, Kristian had to withdraw from the competition and was replaced by Lewis Cope.

Dani Dyer, 29, daughter of ex-EastEnders star Danny, is also part of the new class of 2025 for Strictly Come Dancing. Chris Robshaw, former England rugby captain, and La Voix, star of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, complete the lineup for the new series.

Rehearsals have been intense, with bruises and lost toenails common. However, contestants are taking care of their feet by wearing properly fitted dance shoes, using toe pads or gel inserts, icing sore areas, moisturizing the skin, taping blisters, and resting as necessary to prevent injury and maintain foot health during the rehearsal schedules.

Not everything has been smooth sailing, though. Nadiya Bychkova, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, was seen at the rehearsals after her horror fall earlier this week. She was reportedly taken to the hospital on Tuesday after falling and landing on her back during rehearsals.

Despite the challenges, the spirit remains high. Ross King, Good Morning Britain and Lorraine's Los Angeles reporter, brought a £30 Revlon Pediprep spa for foot care to the Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals in London. And La Voix was in great spirits during the rehearsals.

However, the BBC has faced criticism for inviting Thomas Skinner to the show due to his meeting with JD Vance. Some fans have threatened to boycott the show. In response, Thomas referred to the backlash as a dig at normal, hard-working people.

As the competition heats up, fans can't wait to see who will lift the glitter ball trophy. With such a diverse and talented lineup, it's sure to be an exciting series.
