Rosalie Thomas is pursuing wrongdoers in the Francon region, infamously known for alleged acts of torment.

Get ready for some riveting crime-solving, folks! The Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation (BR) recently announced a new addition to the Franconia "Tatort" team: the acting talent of Rosalie Thomass! The 37-year-old will don the role of Chief Inspector Emilia Rathgeber, joining forces with Fabian Hinrichs, who plays Chief Inspector Felix Voss.

Thomass expressed her excitement for her new challenge, complementing the "Tatort" from Franconia for its top-notch film quality. Her on-screen debut is expected to happen in the upcoming twelfth "Tatort" case - exact air date to be determined.

This versatile actress got her breakthrough in the crime film "He should be dead" in 2005, under the direction of Dominik Graf. Throughout her career, she has graced the big screen in productions like Doris Dörrie’s "Greetings from Fukushima" and Hans Steinbichler's "An Unheard Woman".

Bettina Ricklefs, BR program director, acknowledged Thomass’s embodiment of a down-to-earth character, deeply committed to seeking justice. The "Tatort" fanbase can expect an energizing presence that will contribute positively to the team dynamics.

As for the Franconia "Tatort" faithful, brace yourselves for an eleventh episode titled "I see you" this fall. The action unfolds with Chief Inspector Felix Voss investigating alone, but rest assured, he’ll have support from Eli Wasserscheid as Wanda Goldwasser [1].
