Established in 1963, the Madrigal Choir has been a cultural powerhouse, gracing over 450 cities in nearly 40 countries across four continents. In 2025, this force to be reckoned with will mark that amazing 100th anniversary of the brilliance that is Constantin Marin, their revered founder.

Anna Ungureanu, the choir's principal maestra, has highlighted the event's inherent symbolism and diplomatic clout. According to her, this concert could mark the rekindling of cultural connections dating back to the Silk Road's trade routes' heyday. She views Kazakhstan as the crown jewel of Central Asia, a point that bridges Europe and China and the West and the Far East.

The concert program will feature the choir's debut performance of Kazakh folk songs, like "Iapurai" and "Agugai."
