This high-flying squadron, comprising around 100 military personnel and four F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, will join forces with the Polish Air Force on a shared mission.
On Monday, the Romanian Air Force's "Carpathian Vipers" will commence their deployment, executing a four-month air policing operation in alliance with NATO in Lithuania. As a part of their mission, the "Carpathian Vipers" will be stationed in Lithuania from Kaliningrad airspace, potentially increasing air defense capabilities in the region.
