Romain Febvre Clinches MXGP Title in Teutschenthal
The Talkessel of Teutschenthal in Germany hosted the German round of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship last weekend. Over 200 riders from more than 30 nations competed in the top classes of MXGP and MX2, aiming to earn crucial points for the World Championship standings.
Romain Febvre, the current MXGP World Champion, led the pack in the MXGP category. The French rider, racing for Kawasaki, secured his title in 2025 with an impressive 956 points, leaving behind Lucas Coenen and Glenn Coldenhoff. The competition was fierce, with riders pushing their limits on the challenging Teutschenthal track.
The event kicked off with an official opening on the second day. County Commissioner Hartmut Handschak, an independent, joined club chairman Jens-Uwe Jahnke and managing director Andreas Kosbahn to welcome the riders and spectators.
The German round of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship concluded with intense racing and a strong showing from the local organisers. The event brought together the best motocross riders from around the globe, with Romain Febvre leading the MXGP category. The Talkessel of Teutschenthal once again proved to be a thrilling venue for this prestigious world news event.
