Rock the Village VII: Two Days of Pure Rock & Metal Fury in the Rhön

On August 21–22, 2026, the picturesque Rhön region will once again transform—now for the seventh time—into a seething hotspot of raw energy, passion, and unbridled rock and metal spirit.

Set against the breathtaking, historic backdrop of the baroque Propstei in Zella/Rhön, the Rock the Village Festival delivers two days of unfiltered festival vibes—by fans, for fans.

Good news for bargain hunters: Early Bird discounts end April 6! Snag your Rock the Village VII Early Bird tickets before April 6—with only around 100 left, they're the perfect Easter gift for any rock fan! Grab yours now at tickets.rock-dievillage.de.

This fan-organized event expects over 2,000 attendees, boasting a lineup that's heavier, wilder, and more diverse than ever before.

This year's headliners include power metal titans VICTORIUS, whose cosmic soundscapes blast audiences into the far reaches of the universe, and EXILIA, whose explosive energy is set to tear the stage apart. For an unrelenting melodic death metal onslaught, look no further than HIRAES.

A standout act this year is LAWN CHAIR, a five-piece German-American band fusing indie-punk and experimental pop into an unpredictable, high-energy storm. With razor-sharp lyrics dissecting late-stage capitalism and toxic masculinity, their live show promises to be as intense as it is thought-provoking.

Joining them are true legends like HARDHOLZ—the "Heavy Metal Axe" of the Thuringian Forest—alongside a powerful mix of local and regional acts, including Broken Fate, Spy#Row, Ironbite, Die Rockers, and The Bossyz.

Staying true to its motto—"Pay less, experience more"—the festival offers full transparency and fair pricing. Every ticket includes camping on one of two scenic sites right on the grounds, plus toilets and showers—all at no extra cost.

Just roll in, party hard, and wake up steps away from the action. On Saturday, breakfast and small fan events keep the energy high.

Even if the skies open up, the party stays dry—the spacious festival tent provides shelter from the rain while keeping the rock alive.

Don't miss this intimate yet electrifying celebration. Hurry—Early Bird tickets are discounted until Easter! Day passes start at just €25, while weekend combo tickets go for €45 (regular advance tickets: €30/€55; door prices: €35/€60).

Here, you'll find freedom, friendship, fire—and the authentic sound of summer. For more details and tickets, visit: www.rock-dievillage.de.
