Get ready to scream along to some classics, folks! The one and only, Marilyn Manson, is coming to Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 6, 2025, as part of the Park Live music festival. Big names like DJ and producer Alan Walker and Norwegian electronic duo Royksopp will also be storming the stage during the festival, which takes place from September 5-7, 2025.

But Manson's upcoming performance comes amidst some controversy. In early 2021, actress Evan Rachel Wood accused him of years of abuse. They dated back in the 2000s, with their relationship lasting from 2006 to 2008 and restarting in 2010. Manson has since dismissed these allegations as a "horrible distortion of reality."
In January 2025, it was announced that Manson won't face trial for any sexual assault charges due to the statute of limitations running out.
However, five women, including Wood, did file civil lawsuits against him. Two of these were settled out of court, and another was withdrawn when the accuser admitted to being manipulated into making false accusations. Two civil lawsuits are still ongoing. Manson also previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Wood, claiming she staged the allegations for publicity. However, the lawsuit was recently settled, with Manson paying Wood over $327,000 in attorney's fees.
