Rock legends Spinal Tap set to drop their fourth album titled "The End Continues" in the month of September.
Pre-orders for the highly anticipated album "The End Continues" by legendary rock band Spinal Tap are now available. This album, set to release on September 12, marks the group's fourth album proper and not a soundtrack album, as some might assume.
The 13-track album features a mix of new songs and re-recorded tracks, with notable collaborations from Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Trisha Yearwood. The full tracklist includes "Nigel's Poem," "Let's Just Rock Again," "Flower People" (with Elton John), "Brighton Rock," "The Devil's Just Not Getting Old," "Cups and Cakes" (with Paul McCartney), "I Kissed a Girl," "Angels," "Big Bottom" (with Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood), "Judge and Jury," "Rockin' in the Urn," "Blood to Let," and a reimagined version of "Stonehenge" (with Elton John).
"The End Continues" includes remakes of four songs originally heard on their film "This Is Spinal Tap," such as "Stonehenge" and "Flower People" (both featuring Elton John), "Cups and Cakes" with Paul McCartney, and "Big Bottom" with Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. New songs like "Let's Just Rock Again," "The Devil's Just Not Getting Old," and "Rockin' in the Urn" have also been added to the album.
The trailer for the new Spinal Tap sequel film, which is releasing on the same day as the album, was uploaded to YouTube last week. In the trailer, Questlove of the Roots is shown turning down a chance to be Spinal Tap's drummer, while Paul McCartney is featured singing the praises of Spinal Tap's work. The Thick Of It star Chris Addison plays a music exec in the trailer, advising that at least one, but ideally two members of Spinal Tap could die in their reunion gig.
