Rock legend Adam Lambert, the lead vocalist of Queen, sells his 1950s Los Angeles residence for a staggering $6.2 million.
Adam Lambert's Successful Career and Stunning Home
Adam Lambert, the talented singer and performer, first gained public attention in 2009 when he competed on season eight of "American Idol." Despite finishing in second place, losing to Kris Allen, Lambert has had a successful career in the music industry.
Lambert's journey in the music world took an exciting turn in 2012 when he joined the remaining members of the iconic band Queen, taking the place of Freddie Mercury as the band's vocalist. This collaboration began during Lambert's time on "American Idol," as he sang "We Are the Champions" with band members Brian May and Roger Taylor during the show's finale.
In 2012, Lambert officially joined Queen as the main vocalist for the Queen + Adam Lambert Tour. Since then, he has been touring with the band, most recently performing on their The Rhapsody Tour in February 2024.
When it comes to his personal life, Lambert's home is as impressive as his career. His Los Angeles home, originally built in 1952, was sold for $6.2 million. The three-story home boasts sweeping views of the city below and features multiple floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor living space.
The primary bedroom in Lambert's home opens up to a private outdoor terrace, and it also has an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. In addition to the primary bedroom, the home features three other bedrooms. The home also includes a gym, a large swimming pool, a firepit, and an outdoor kitchen.
Lambert's music career is as diverse as his home. He has released multiple albums, with his most recent one, "High Drama," released in 2023. His favorite song to perform on tour changes depending on his mood, but he enjoys singing "Another One Bites the Dust" for its aggressiveness and funkiness, and "The Show Must Go On" for the challenge it presents.
In addition to his music, Lambert has made a number of television appearances on popular shows, including "Pretty Little Liars" and "Glee." His Broadway debut came in 2024, where he played the Emcee in "Cabaret."
Despite the lack of information about who acquired Lambert's Los Angeles house after he sold it, one thing is clear - Adam Lambert continues to make his mark in the entertainment industry.
