Robby Fabbri makes emotional return to St. Louis Blues after four-year absence

Robby Fabbri is set to return to the St. Louis Blues for the first time since 2019. The forward will wear the Blue Note (No. 9) in the Dec. 11 match against the Nashville Predators. His return follows a one-year, two-way contract signed just a day earlier due to injuries in the team's forward lineup.

Fabbri, a first-round pick by the Blues in 2014, has since played for the Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks. He expressed excitement about rejoining the club, where he holds fond memories. Head Coach Jim Montgomery praised his offensive skills, speed, and tenacity around the net, expecting him to fit well with linemates Pius Suter and Dalibor Dvorsky.

Fabbri’s return adds experience and offensive depth to the Blues' roster. McGing’s call-up provides further options as the team manages injuries. Both players will look to make an impact in their respective roles against the Predators.
