The Burglary Unfolds

Robert Geiss, aged 61, took to Instagram on a Sunday, revealing the horrifying ordeal they endured. Four men, armed to the teeth, barged into their secluded haven in Saint-Tropez. "We were robbed in our own home, and by the strangest of thieves: four armed dunderheads," Robert stated. The incident left Carmen with a neck wound, and she was nearly strangled. The scene was surreal, with palm trees swaying, flashing lights, and paramedics working frantically inside their residence.

The local prosecutor has confirmed the burglary, yet remains tight-lipped about the specifics.

In an interview with BILD, Carmen confides, "I'm grateful to be alive. I was terrified of death." Robert recalls the horrific ambush—the burglars caught them unaware while they were relaxing in front of the TV. They tried to resist, but the gun pointed at their faces left them with no viable option. The thieves emptied the safe and the entire ordeal lasted about 45 minutes.

Carmen and Robert Geiss are both natives of Cologne, tying the knot in 1994. Robert previously was an entrepreneur specializing in sportswear, while Carmen pursued modeling and fitness training.
