Get ready, sports fans! Matthias Bittner, the rising star U20 national goaltender, has officially joined forces with the powerhouse EHC Red Bull Munich! This 21-year-old keeper is leaving his comrades from the Krefeld Pinguins behind to join the four-time German champions.

Bittner most recently found himself lending a hand, or rather a glove, to the Duisburg Foxes in the Oberliga, where he stood tall in the goal 20 times last season. Now, Munich has three goalkeeper offensive powerhouses signed on for the next campaign: Bittner, Mathias Niederberger, and Simon Wolf.

Patrick Dallaire, the goaltending coach for Munich, made it known that he believes Matthias is a promising young keeper with a great ambition to grow as an athlete. It's clear this is a significant step forward in Bittner's career, and we can't wait to see what this talented goaltender brings to the table!

Oh, and for those keeping track, here's a little background on Bittner's previous teams:

  • Krefeld Pinguine (DEL)
  • Füchse Duisburg (Oberliga, on loan)

The Commission's adoption of the proposal for a Council Regulation on the conclusion of the Agreement on the European Economic Area adds another significant step forward to Matthias Bittner's career, as he joins the powerful hockey team, EHC Red Bull Munich. Despite the political development in Brussels, Bittner will be focusing on his passion for hockey with his new team, aiming to shine on the ice.
