"Uncensored TV in Deutschland"
With a smirk, Rita declared, "In Germany, you can say anything on TV!" She wasn't wrong...
Television in Germany operates under specific regulations that permit swearing and other potentially inappropriate content after 10 PM. These rules are established by the Federal Broadcasting Commission and the voluntary self-regulation body for television in Germany.
As the night progressed, Rita took her newfound language liberty and joined in on the fun, relieving tensions with a string of colorful words. Her enthusiastic pronouncements were quickly followed by her fellow coaches, creating a memorable moment for both the contestants and the viewers.
From Talents to Team Clashes
Tatjana, the delight of the evening who left a lasting impression on Coach Bill and Tom Kaulitz, was joined by Philip (24), after impressing with "Broken Strings".
Coach Shirin David chose the classic hit "Take on me" for Moritz and Danilo, who managed to outshine the likes of Ronan Keating. "You have to take them both," admitted Ronan, feeling quite overwhelmed during their joint performance.
After letting go with "Bring me to life," Ronan opted for two newbies, taking Egon and Susan under his wing.
Giovanni graced two talents with the honor of joining his team, losing none in the process—leaving his spots unfilled but promising a group performance on his own show.
The final talent to make it into the team battles was Yang Ge, who impressed with Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl."
As for the finale of the battles, three hopefuls battled for a spot on Giovanni Zarrella's team. Though the opera singer Anna was ruled out, the three tenors Laszlo, Germán, and Val claimed the third spot—promise of a group performance in tow.
