Rio's Museum of Tomorrow Hosts Free 'Lumisphere Experience'

Rio de Janeiro's Museum of Tomorrow is hosting an innovative, free exhibition called the Lumisphere Experience. Running from October 2 to December 19, 2025, it invites visitors to create vivid images on LED screens using hands-on technology, representing their visions for a sustainable future.

Spanning 8,000 square feet, the installation consists of three interconnected domes. It offers a 360° immersive experience with surround sound and interactive storytelling. The research behind the exhibit aims to measure 'urgent optimism' - the ability to remain hopeful and motivated in the face of global challenges.

The Lumisphere Experience is part of a global tour, with its first stop in Rio de Janeiro. This coincides with Brazil's hosting of COP30 and The Earthshot Prize ceremony. The exhibit is co-designed with Minds Over Matter studio and has a research partnership with the Institute for the Future to track its impact on visitors' sense of empowerment.

The Lumisphere Experience is open to all and free, encouraging visitors to envision their ideal eco-future. It is a unique opportunity to engage with global challenges and foster hope for a sustainable world.
