The Olympian Strikes Back:Simone Biles didn't hesitate to fire back, slamming Gaines for her comment and labeling her "truly sick" and a "sore loser." Biles even suggested Gaines should "bully someone [her] own size, which would ironically be a male."

"Oh boy, I had to read that five times to make sure it wasn't a fake profile," Gaines recounted on "The Will Cain Show." "This has been the talk of X, really all social platforms... I think she [Biles] truly incinerated her legacy with these two tweets."
Although the comments on Gaines' appearance didn't leave a scar, she expressed disappointment, thinking about young gymnasts like her teen sister, who admires Biles as a role model.
"That's the people who look up to Simone. Those are the people she's built her platform for, and suddenly, in one tweet, she sold them out," Gaines lamented.
