ESV Gerstungen's bowling team clinched the tournament title in the Railway Cup Tournament, amassing a total of 2171 pins. The team's standout player, Jürgen Langlotz, scored the highest individual score of 561 pins.

Meanwhile, in the realm of chess, Wilhelm Schubert of SV Wartburgstadt made a remarkable impression in the youth spring series.
