Maeva Squiban of UAE Team ADQ claimed a solo victory in stage 7 of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, marking her second consecutive stage win. The 159.7 km race from Gap to Chambéry saw Squiban demonstrate her impressive climbing and descending skills, pulling ahead of the competition on the final climb and maintaining her lead through a long descent into the finish line.

The stage was the first true mountain test, and Squiban's dominant performance was particularly noteworthy. Kim Le Court Pienaar, who currently holds the overall yellow jersey, bravely descended after losing time on the final climb, managing to keep the jersey.
A 17-rider group formed during the stage, including Lotte Kopecky, Chloé Dygert, Marie Le Net, Squiban, Eline Jansen, Justine Ghekiere, Shirin van Anrooij, Megan Jastrab, Ruth Edwards, Célia Le Mouel, Mareille Meijering, Maud Rijnbeek, Alice Maria Arzuffi, Lucinda Brand, Alicia González, Fiona Mangan, and Susanne Andersen. However, González, Andersen, Brand, and Mangan dropped back before the first classified climb of the day.
Squiban took the points at the first classified climb (Côte de Saint-Franc) and again on the Côte de Berland. Cedrine Kerbaol made an effort to gain bonus seconds and finished second behind Squiban on both climbs. A crash during the stage caused Soraya Paladin to abandon the race.
Kasia Niewiadoma, Demi Vollering, and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot were among the group of favorites, but Vollering attempted to take control of the descent but was caught by Le Court before the finish in Chambéry. Ruth Edwards finished third in stage 7, while Shirin van Anrooij and Dominika Włodarczyk completed the top five.
