Rhine Ablaze Koblenz 2025: Comprehensive Schedule Unveiled
Prepare for a summer extravaganza as the much-anticipated Rhein in Flammen Koblenz festival is set to light up the city from August 8 to 10. This three-day event promises a diverse range of music, spectacular fireworks, and family-friendly activities along the Rhine and Moselle riverbanks.
Concert Lineup
The festival will feature a stellar lineup of artists and acts from various genres, including Hotspot, Die Hohener, Sam & His Buddies, Karliboi, Abimixx, and DJ Alex Breitling. Performances will take place at the Gold, Pink, ADAC, 068, Blue, Silver, and Kevag-Telekom areas.
Special Events
The highlight of the festival is the grand fireworks display over Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on Saturday evening, accompanied by a mesmerising drone show (introduced in 2025, possibly present in 2023).
Children’s Activities
Sunday has been designated as a family day, with children’s programs and family-friendly entertainment throughout the festival grounds. The Kevag-Telekom Area will host a family program with open stage, face painting, and interactive activities. Craft activities, children's karaoke, playmobile, and a stage program for families will be available from 12:00 to 18:00.
Event Areas
The festival is spread over seven event areas, offering food, drinks, shows, and relaxed dancing. Additional amenities include cable car rides over the Rhine, ferries, and Park & Ride services to ease access.
Other Highlights
On Friday, Karaoke night will take place at the Kevag-Telekom Area, while the ADAC Area will offer a stage program with local acts, face painting, rodeo, bouncy castle, and stand-up paddleboarding. On Saturday, the ADAC Area will have a children's program and a stage program with international acts.
Sunday will see "Soul Sunday" with relaxed music and outdoor yoga at the 068 Area. Catering will be open until 2:00 AM, and the stage program will continue until midnight.
