Iran confirmed the death of Generalmajor Hussein Salami, a powerful figure in the Islamic Republic, who was reportedly killed during an Israeli attack on the headquarters of the notorious Revolutionary Guards. According to the Tasnim news agency, the mouthpiece of the Iranian elite military force, Salami was one of the most influential men in Iran until his demise.
