Slipping into Skechers Go Golf Elite 6: A Comfortable Choice for Golfers

Review of Women's Go Golf Elite 6 Slip-ins Golf Shoes by Skechers

Golfing isn't just about scoring the perfect hole-in-one, it's also about comfort and style. In the realm of golf shoes, Skechers has consistently nailed the comfort factor, and their Go Golf Elite 6 Slip-ins are no exception.

Even though I wasn't quite sure what to expect, the hands-free slip-in design was a genuine surprise. The convenience of slipping into them without bending down to tie laces is a small luxury that adds to the overall experience.

Once on, these bad boys feel secure thanks to the Heel Pillow that gently cradles your foot and keeps it in place. For those with problem feet, the removable Arch Fit insole provides soft, podiatrist-approved support. It molds to your foot, reducing shock and increasing weight dispersion for a comfortable and stable feel.

As for comfort, these golf shoes excel. They feel almost as lightweight as a high-performance trainer, making them perfect for long days on the course. However, it's worth noting that the fit is slightly on the narrow side, although it works fine for me.

Style-wise, these Slip-ins have a sporty, functional look. The synthetic materials give these shoes a very smooth appearance, despite having a subtle pattern that becomes noticeable only up close. If you're already a fan of Skechers and prefer a more traditional look, you might want to consider the Go Golf Jasmine 2 model.

I like the periwinkle color—it's unlike anything I've seen in golf shoes, somewhere between lilac and purple with a complementing purple/blue sole. Plus, the branding is very subtle, which I appreciate. It's also worth mentioning that these golf shoes are waterproof and made with recycled materials, a great option if you're trying to make more sustainable choices with your golf gear.

If I had to nitpick, the design leans a little too far into the athletic trainer aesthetic for my taste. I prefer a more lifestyle-inspired shoe, something that transitions more easily off the course. But if comfort and convenience are your top priorities, you won't be disappointed with the Skechers Go Golf Elite 6 Slip-ins.

While they may not be the most stylish choice in the current market, in terms of comfort and ease of wear, they are definitely amongst the best women's golf shoes out there. And who said comfort isn't fashionable?

Golfing is not merely about achieving the perfect hole-in-one; it's also about embracing comfort and style. The Skechers Go Golf Elite 6 Slip-ins, with their combination of comfort and convenience, are an excellent instance of this.

These golf shoes are not only comfortable, mimicking the lightweight feel of high-performance trainers, but they also cater to fashion-and-beauty enthusiasts with their sporty, functional design and unique periwinkle color.

For golfers who value comfort and ease of wear above all else, the Skechers Go Golf Elite 6 Slip-ins, though leaning towards an athletic trainer aesthetic, are undeniably amongst the best golf shoes, blending the worlds of sports, lifestyle, and golf flawlessly.
