Brutally Revealed: The Chilling Notebook of the Alleged Minnesota Assassin

Vance Boelter, a 57-year-old ex-Minnesota governor appointee, is under fire for allegedly shooting and killing Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, along with injuring Sen. John Hoffman and his wife.

After the horrific incident on Saturday, Boelter sent a series of chilling texts to his family, stating, "Dad went to war last night... I don't wanna say more because I don't wanna implicate anybody." In another message, he reportedly expressed his regrets, saying, "Words are not gonna explain how sorry I am for this situation. There's gonna be some people coming to the house armed and trigger-happy and I don't want you guys around."

Disturbing notes recovered from the crime scene suggest that Boelter was armed with a list of 45 Democratic politicians, abortion campaigners, and company websites selling silicone facemasks, like the one Boelter is believed to have worn during the killing spree[1].

Police clarified that Boelter's notes were not "ideological writings" and emphasized they were not being treated like a "traditional manifesto." Prior to Boelter's arrest, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Drew Evans stated, "This is not a document...that would be like a traditional manifesto that's like a treatise on all kinds of ideologies and writings."[2]

Boelter was found alive and in custody near his home after a brief manhunt on Sunday night. He is facing charges for two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder[3]. Strangely, police discovered a fake police vehicle used by Boelter during the shootings, and within the vehicle, a cache of weapons, including at least three AK-47 assault rifles and a notebook containing the names and addresses of other public officials[4].

Targets named on the list included Sen. Amy Klobuchar, "squad member" Rep. Ilhan Omar, Congresswoman Kelly Morrison, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, and Jeff Bezos' ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott. Several abortion clinic names were also on the list, including one scheduled to open in Omaha, Nebraska[5].

Former congressman Dean Phillips claimed that he was on the list as well, stating, "Now, we must take steps to prevent political violence before it's too late."[5]
