The anticipation for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 is building, as the organisers have revealed an impressive lineup of presenters for the pre-show and live ceremony.

The first wave of presenters includes Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Ben Whittaker, Gigguk, Chocolate Planet, DEAN FUJIOKA, Kanata Hongo, Mayu Matsuoka, Saya Ichikawa, Pabllo Vittar, Damiano David, Ironmouse, d4vd, Rina Sawayama, Chloe Kim, Plastique Tiara, and Paloma Mami. This diverse group of presenters hails from various parts of the globe, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines.

The live ceremony, which will be hosted by voice actress Sally Amaki and popular entertainer Jon Kabira, will take place on May 25th. The event will also be streamed globally, allowing fans from all around the world to participate in the celebration of anime.

The winners from each category of the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will be announced at the live ceremony, with the results also being revealed through the global fan livestream. The nominees for this year's awards include DAN DA DAN, Delicious in Dungeon, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Kaiju No. 8, Solo Leveling, and The Apothecary Diaries.

These include Anime of the Year, Film of the Year, Best Original Anime, Best Continuing Series, Best New Series, Best Opening Sequence, Best Ending Sequence, Best Action, Best Comedy, Best Drama, Best Isekai Anime, Best Romance, Best Slice of Life, Best Animation, Best Background Art, Best Character Design, Best Director, Best Main Character, Best Supporting Character, "Must Protect At All Cost" Character, Best Anime Song, Best Score, Best Japanese Voice Artist Performance, Best English Voice Artist Performance, Best Arabic Voice Artist Performance, Best Brazilian Portuguese Voice Artist Performance, Best Castilian Spanish Voice Artist Performance, Best French Voice Artist Performance, Best German Voice Artist Performance, Best Hindi Voice Artist Performance, Best Italian Voice Artist Performance, Best Latin Spanish Voice Artist Performance, Best Voice Artist Performance in other languages.

Fans can cast their votes for their favourite series, creators, and performances on the Crunchyroll Anime Awards Official Website. Voting ends on April 15th at 7:59am BST. This year, voting is more accessible than ever, with the 1-click resubmit feature and the option to vote within the Crunchyroll mobile application.

In addition to the voting, Crunchyroll is offering a selection of nominated titles streaming for free in celebration of the Anime Awards.

The 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards nominations include over 50 series and films developed by more than 35 studios. The winners will be determined by both fan and jury voting. The event will culminate with Hiroki Totoki, President and CEO of Sony Group Corporation, delivering opening remarks at the live ceremony.
