"Return to Bachem celebrated!": FC Neuweiler's holiday season brings joy to kids and teens.

In the picturesque Kurt-Gluding-Dorf in Bachem, the FC Neuweiler summer camp took place from July 21st to 25th, attracting over 50 enthusiastic young footballers. The theme of the camp, "Finally back to Bachem!", resonated with the participants as they eagerly embraced the colourful and varied program that awaited them.

The idyllic facility offered an ideal setting for the camp, with a sports hall, an artificial turf pitch, and wooden cabins for sleeping accommodations. The program was a delightful blend of sports activities, creative group projects, and fun-filled evening events.

During the day, participants enjoyed sports activities such as football, volleyball, and badminton, as well as more unusual team challenges like tug of war, boules, and an Olympics-style competition. The weather, while fickle, did not dampen the spirits of the campers, who continued to participate in these activities with great enthusiasm.

Evenings were filled with a host of entertaining events. A joint game of volleyball, a spooky night hike through the forest, and a kids' disco with DJ Ole were among the highlights that kept the campers entertained after dark. A trip to the Merzig indoor pool was another popular highlight, providing a refreshing change from the outdoor activities.

The success of the camp was evident, with it being fully booked before the registration deadline. This achievement was made possible by the extraordinary commitment of the volunteer support team, who provided fresh and delicious meals and cared for the children around the clock.

FC Neuweiler would like to express their gratitude to Edeka Hoffmann & Konrad Sulzbach, Kaufland St. Ingbert, dm St. Ingbert, and the Avie pharmacy in Neuweiler for their generous donations, which contributed to the overall success of the camp.

As the camp drew to a close, the participants and organisers looked forward to the future, with FC Neuweiler already planning the next summer camp. The saying "After Bachem comes Bachem!" captures the anticipation of another exciting week filled with fun, friendship, and football.

At the sports hall and artificial turf pitch of the idyllic facility, participants engaged in various sports activities such as football and volleyball. During the evening events, a football game and a spooky night hike added a fun twist to the camp experience.
