Return of the Sun heralds Summer once more
After a week of rain, the weather in Baden-Württemberg is set to improve significantly. According to forecasts, the region will experience mostly sunny conditions with temperatures gradually rising.
From Sunday onwards, Tuttlingen is expected to see sprinkles and cloudy conditions giving way to clear skies. The daytime temperature is predicted to rise from around 15°C (59°F) on Sunday morning to about 20°C (68°F) by Monday afternoon.
Across the region, temperatures in early to mid-August are expected to reach a maximum of around 26-27°C (79-81°F) and minimum lows between 12-15°C (54-59°F). Stuttgart, for instance, will see highs increasing from about 21°C to 27°C later in the week, with lows mostly in the 12-15°C range.
Karlsruhe and Kehl are also expected to follow similar patterns, with Karlsruhe peaking near 26.7°C and Kehl reaching up to approximately 30°C later in the week, especially after rain showers subside.
From Wednesday onwards, no rain is expected in Baden-Württemberg. The temperatures are expected to continue increasing towards the weekend, but will not reach the 40-degree temperatures on the Iberian Peninsula. There is a possibility of brief thunderstorms or showers during the weekend, but overall, the weather should be summery.
The improvement in weather is due to the high-pressure area "Ines" from Spain and Portugal. The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts temperatures of around 25°C on Wednesday in Baden-Württemberg.
As the week progresses, the weather in Baden-Württemberg is expected to become sunnier, with the southeast of the region seeing some sun at the start of Tuesday. The highest temperatures on Tuesday will range between 21 degrees in the mountains and 26 degrees in the Markgräflerland.
By Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise to up to 29 degrees. The weekend weather in Baden-Württemberg is expected to remain summery. So, grab your sunscreen and get ready for some warm and sunny days ahead!
