Return Date for South Park's 3rd Episode in Season 27
South Park Season 27, Episode 3: A Delayed Release and a Controversial Scene
South Park's Season 27 continues to captivate audiences, with the latest episode, Episode 3, causing a stir due to its delayed release and a controversial scene featuring Vice President JD Vance.
The episode, which aired on August 13, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, was initially expected to air on Wednesday, Aug. 13, according to Esquire. However, a teaser video on Comedy Central suggested that no new episode would air on that date. The confusion was later resolved, with the episode airing a day later than anticipated.
In the episode, Vance played a diminutive assistant reminiscent of Rourke’s diminutive assistant, Tattoo, in the classic TV series Fantasy Island. The scene, set at President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida, has sparked controversy, with Vance taking it in stride, responding to a South Park post on X by saying, "Well, I've finally made it."
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, however, was not amused by the show's portrayal of her, calling it "lazy" and "petty." The episode's end credits sequence continues the episode's running gag about Noem shooting puppies, a reference to an admission in her book about shooting her family dog.
The new season of South Park airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, with episodes streaming exclusively on Paramount+ the next day. The most recent post on South Park's X account was on Monday, featuring the end credits scene for 'Got A Nut.'
Stay tuned for more updates on South Park Season 27, Episode 3 as official announcements are released by Comedy Central and Paramount+.
