In the final week of celebrations, Notre Dame University's Student Executive Facilitator, Lauren Carry, expressed her excitement about next year's events while reflecting on this year's success. The highlight of the week was '90s Day', a student-led event that included a new addition this year - 'Y2K', or 'year 2000'.

The upper study area was transformed into a vibrant scene as students came in a variety of themed outfits and costumes representing the 90s and Y2K eras. The students' enthusiasm was palpable as they danced to vintage tunes played by resident DJ, Louis Tooth, and participated in dance battles and singalongs.

A photobooth was set up for students to show off their 90s and Y2K style, capturing the spirit of the era. The Student Executive Facilitator, Lauren Carry, commented on the students' amazing outfits and their enjoyment of the vintage tunes.

The Student Executive played a significant role in organising this event, with responsibilities that included event planning, promotion, and budgeting. To raise money for charity, they sold Y2K/90s goody bags during the event.

In similar student-led events, entrance fees, sponsorships, donations, themed activities, and selling merchandise are common fundraising strategies. However, specific details about the Student Executive team's activities at Notre Dame's Y2K/90s Day event were not available. Lauren Carry ended the event with a promise of an even bigger and better event next year, leaving students eagerly anticipating the next celebration.

The vibrant student-led 90s Day and Y2K event featured a lively mix of lifestyle choices, including fashion-and-beauty expressions from the ’90s and the millennium transition. Entertainment at the university's upper study area included dance battles, singalongs, and vintage tunes, with the Student Executive Facilitator, Lauren Carry, expressing delight at the students' enthusiasm and style.
