Foreign Service Appointment Process Completed, Results Available Online

The Public Service Commission (PSC) of Nepal has completed the selection process for the Section Officer (Gazetted Third Class) or an equivalent position in the Foreign Service. The announcement was made on 2081/08/16, following a thorough evaluation that included written exams, IT skills tests, group assessments, and interviews.

Shortlisted candidates were called for interviews from 2081/07/27 to 2081/08/13. After careful consideration, the recommendations for the Foreign Service positions were made on 2081/08/16.

Candidates are advised to ensure that all required documents are submitted during the appointment process to maintain the integrity of the selection process. For any inquiries or further details, candidates can contact the Public Service Commission Central Office.

The results of the Foreign Service selection are now accessible for the next 7 days via the PSC website: www.psc.gov.np/advertise/advertise/user. Candidates can view their results, including total scores and merit rank, 7 days after the publication of the notice. The merit list is based on Advertisement Numbers: 16695/080-81 (Open), 16696/080-81 (Female), 16697/080-81 (Adivasi Janajati), and 16698/080-81 (Madheshi).

Candidates are encouraged to regularly monitor the PSC's official notifications for updates on the result announcement date for the current recruitment cycle, as no specific date has been announced as yet. The appointment recommendations will be under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
