Restoring Roszak's access will aid the recovery of BSV
Marc Roszak Joins BSV Menden, Bringing Goal-Scoring Ability to the Landesliga
After three successful seasons in the "Bundesliga of the Sauerland" with SG Hemer, Marc Roszak has made a move to BSV Menden in the Landesliga. The midfielder, known for his running strength and goal-scoring ability, is set to bring his talents to the faster-paced games at Menden.
Roszak's first competitive match for BSV Menden was in Salchendorf, where he wore the number seven jersey. The coaching duo of Marcel Brünnel and Ralf Schneider see Roszak's strengths in his running power and goal-scoring ability, and have positioned him to play in the midfield, specifically as an eight or ten.
Roszak had to adapt to the natural grass surface at the Huckenohl-Stadion, but found it easier to adjust due to knowing a few players from his time in Hemer, such as Paul Schmoele and Leon Hauser. Alex and Jan Rudi, who Roszak previously played with, have since left BSV Menden.
Roszak had a memorable farewell match with SG Hemer, scoring a goal at the end of the 2024/2025 season. He decided to leave Hemer this summer to join a club in the Landesliga, and promoted with both the B-juniors and the A-juniors of SG Hemer to the Bezirksliga. In his final season with Hemer, Roszak scored seven goals in 21 games.
Roszak is excited for the upcoming season and games at BSV Menden, expressing a positive feeling about the future. He wants to further integrate himself into the team to solidify his role on and off the pitch.
With Roszak's addition to the team, BSV Menden looks to build on their success and compete at a higher level in the Landesliga. The club and its fans are eager to see what the future holds for Roszak and the team.
