Restoration of Pavilion's Cultural Heritage Succeeds

In 2020, the "Culture at the Pavilion" series was launched, a unique concert series held on the picturesque Albert Bridge. This year, the series is set to return, thanks to the support of sponsors and private donors who share a vision for high-quality live music for the common good.

The series, which aims to provide accessible and independent live music regardless of individual economic situations, was initially planned for August and September. However, due to a lack of funding, the concerts were unfortunately cancelled. But, thanks to the generosity of these supporters, the series has been saved.

Maria Helm, the organiser of the series, expressed her gratitude for this continued support and her hopes for more goodwill and backing in the future. She also announced that the concerts will now take place this month, with four exciting performances lined up.

The series will kick off with a performance by Maria Helm's own band, "The Reel Chicks and Family". The Russian-Ukrainian party band "APPARATSCHIK" will close the season, promising an energetic end to the series.

The District Council of Dresden-Neustadt has also approved a funding application for the "Culture at the Pavilion" series, ensuring its financial security for this year and next year. This means that the series will continue with live music outdoors from May to September next year.

Maria Helm expressed her excitement for the return of the series, and her hope that it will continue to bring joy and music to the community. The "Culture at the Pavilion" series is more than just a concert series—it's a testament to the power of community spirit and the love of music.

Stay tuned for more updates on the "Culture at the Pavilion" series, and get ready to enjoy some live music under the open sky!
