Restarted PSL 2025: Revised Team Rosters and Substitute Players for Each Franchise

Get Ready for the Restart! Here's Your Lowdown on the 2025 PSL Squads

After a tense political tangle, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is gearing up for a comeback starting May 17. Here's the scoop on the league's updated lineups.

Prevailing tensions between India and Pakistan led to a temporary suspension of the PSL on May 7, causing quite the stir for overseas players. Now, as the PSL is about to jumpstart, it's awaiting the return of some of these foreign cricketers. But, it seems the uncertainty surrounding their safety might deter many from returning[5]. The PCB is arduously trying to lure them back, arranging No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from cricket boards Down Under and across the pond, and even offering to shoulder the travel costs[3].

Kicking off the action tomorrow, Peshawar Zalmi will square off against Karachi Kings at Rawalpindi. The remaining four league games will unfurl until May 19, following which the playoffs will commence on May 21. The grand finale is slated for May 25[6].

As the race to confirm squads heats up, let's take a look at each team's lineup.
