This adventure film, directed by Andrei Semenov, promises to serve as a guiding light for many, with its characters portraying young volunteers who help the front.
The story is set in a border village in the Belgorod region, where the main character, a 17-year-old schoolgirl named Zhenya from St. Petersburg, arrives at her brother's place, a volunteer about to be deployed to a special military operation zone. It is here that Zhenya meets Timur, the informal leader of a team of young volunteers, whose actions inspire her to see life in a new light.
The film was shot in the Rяzan region, St. Petersburg, and on a real military base, providing an authentic backdrop for the story. Elena Tsyplakova, a People's Artist of Russia, plays Timur's grandmother in the film, adding star power to the production. Other stars include Aleksei Onezhen, Nikita Kologrivy, Egor Beroyev, and others.
