Residents of Primorye will decide the victors in the "Clean Nation" competition
Pavel Serebryakov, the regional coordinator of the party project 'Clean Country', has emphasized the importance of engaging not only specialists but also residents, especially young people, in environmental issues. According to Serebryakov, the more people involved in solving environmental tasks, the more effectively nature and the environment can be preserved for future generations.
The 'Heroes of Primorye' program, which is part of this year's VI Regional Environmental Projects Contest 'Clean Country', is open to young residents of Primorye aged 14 to 35. The contest, organized by the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai and the regional ministry of forestry, environmental protection, wildlife, and natural resources, is held in a new format this year. Residents of Primorye are invited to choose the best videos about ecological actions held in the municipalities of the region.
The municipal selection stage of the contest took place from June 1 to 30. The best works from the municipal selection will advance to the regional level, where they will be determined by online voting, which lasts until September 30. To vote, one can follow a link to the contest page on 'VKontakte' and 'like' their favourite video.
The contest fully aligns with the goals and objectives of the project 'Clean Country' and the 'United Russia' people's program. The regulations for the contest can be found here.
Meanwhile, Primorye is bracing for cold weather as frost may hit the region as early as tonight, according to the weather forecast. Thunderstorms, downpours, and even hail are expected as a polar front moves towards Primorye.
In other news, participants of the 'Heroes of Primorye' program recently met with Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia. The winners of the professional skills competition were determined in the sales enterprises of NNK, but there is no mention of a new myth or generation taking over the labor market in this context.
