Residents of Kolymov Notified of New Track Restrictions

The Magadan region in Russia is experiencing traffic disruptions and restrictions on the federal highway "Kolyma" due to adverse weather conditions and a damaged bridge.

Starting from 2 PM on August 19, all types of vehicles are temporarily restricted from traveling on sections of the highway, specifically at kilometer 1720 where a bridge over the Myaikit River has been damaged. The Magadan State Traffic Inspectorate has issued this recommendation as a precautionary measure to ensure road safety during the ongoing traffic restrictions.

The organization responsible for redirecting traffic due to these disruptions is the regional road maintenance service or local traffic management authorities. Road users are advised to comply with temporary traffic signs and signals from traffic controllers.

However, it's important to note that this recommendation does not apply to the automobile road Palatka-Kuлу-Nexikan at kilometers 119 and 319, as restrictions there remain until 12 PM on August 20. Similarly, the traffic restrictions on the automobile road leading to the Talaya settlement at kilometer 15 are due to adverse weather conditions and not related to the Magadan State Traffic Inspectorate's recommendation.

Flooding on the roadway at kilometer 1681 on the federal highway "Kolyma" has also been reported. The Magadan State Traffic Inspectorate advises against leaving vehicles on the roadway during these conditions.

Despite the ongoing traffic restrictions, the Magadan State Traffic Inspectorate has not yet specified a new date or time for the lifting of the restrictions on the highway. They have also emphasized the importance of road users being more attentive during this time.

In conclusion, motorists in the Magadan region should exercise caution and follow traffic signs and signals while navigating the federal highway "Kolyma" and other roads in the region, as adverse weather conditions and temporary restrictions continue to affect travel.
