Residents of Camchatka can cast their votes for a local woman in the "People's Postman" competition
In the far-eastern reaches of Russia, a postwoman from the small village of Ust-Kamchatsk is making a name for herself in the All-Russian "Rural Postman" competition. Natalia Titarenko, a first-class postman, is representing Kamchatka Krai in this prestigious event.
The competition, which features 86 finalists from 86 regions across the country, is the first of its kind. Ivan Chernetsov, director of the Kamchatka Krai branch of AO 'Russian Post', has urged locals to support their candidate, implicitly endorsing Titarenko.
