Rescue operation conducted in Anapa saves man adrift for nearly a day.

In the resort town of Anapa, a tourist's dramatic ordeal came to an end on August 20, after he was rescued following a 18-hour-long search operation.

The incident began on August 19, when the man went for a ride on a stand-up paddleboard from the "40 Years of Victory" beach at 16:00. However, he failed to return to the shore by evening. His friend, concerned about his long absence, sought help from the rescuers.

The rescue service of Anapa promptly responded to the distress signal and initiated a search operation in the Black Sea, which continued even as night fell.

Meanwhile, approximately 500 meters from the shore of Sochi, a girl was carried away from the shore by a strong underwater current. She was found and lifted onto a boat by the rescuers, but thanks to their coordinated actions, medical assistance was not required for her.

The following day, around 10:00 am, the missing tourist was found. He had been in the sea for 18 hours and was exhausted, but did not require medical assistance.

Despite the lack of information about the identity of the man or the girl, the successful rescue operation is a testament to the dedication and quick response of the rescuers in Anapa.

It is important to note that this incident serves as a reminder of the potential dangers of going into the sea, especially at night, and the importance of being aware of one's surroundings and taking necessary safety precautions.

The rescue operation took place in the resort town of Anapa, a popular tourist destination on the shores of the Black Sea. This incident, while troubling, underscores the importance of being prepared and vigilant when enjoying the beauty of the sea.
